PEMBERTON WILDLIFE ASSOCIATION SHOOTING RANGE

pemberton firing rangeThe PWA ranges near Pemberton include:

  1. A "regular" rifle range out to 335 yards - approved for pistols, shotguns firing a single projectile (slug), and rifles up to and including .338 Lapua Magnum and .50 BMG.
  2. A "long" rifle range with rifle targets available between 200 and 485 yards - approved for rifles only, up to and including .338 Lapua Magnum and .50 BMG.
  3. A pistol/tactical range out to 100 yards - approved for pistols, shotguns (firing shot or slugs) and rifles up to and including .338 Lapua Magnum.
  4. A 50 yard trap range - approved for shotguns firing "shot" only.
  5. A 50 yard archery range for all archery disciplines.

Members have year round access to the facilities, seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to dusk.

Members will need their own firearms for regular "non-club event" shooting activities.

The Association also owns a few guns which are used for special events/club shoots. These firearms are safely stored off site.

If you, like most of our members, would like to simply come out and enjoy casual target practice on your own, you will find that you frequently have a shooting range all to yourself at our facility. Informal fun shoots are held periodically throughout the year if you would like to dabble in casual competition. If we don't offer a genre of target shooting that you want, volunteer your services and we will do whatever we can to help you launch a new shooting discipline. Shooting clinics and firearms training courses are also periodically available locally in Pemberton.
