PWA Membership Benefits
Mandate
Formed in 1962 and incorporated in 1971,the PWA has been involved in fish and wildlife conservation in the Pemberton area for over 40 years. Our mandate is very broad, covering most aspects of outdoor recreation and conservation of all species. The PWA has been active in projects such as:
- construction of Coho salmon enhancement channels
- operating fish hatchery facilities
- building alpine trail networks
- radio collaring the local deer population
- providing comments about land use in the area to government agencies.
